Outside Childcare providers Ashby 'Swingboat' and 'Honeysuckle' Coleorton. Both take and pick up children from school. After School Club takes place on school premises.
Lunch: Cross Country Club organized by a parent. After School: Badminton, Art, Sewing, Keep Fit for staff, Football, Cricket, Rounders, Recorders, In2Sport. Outside Providers: Leics Tigers RFC and Notts Forest FC. 'Tip Tops' (Maths) on Fridays at Ashby School
Active P.T.F.A. organizes events i.e. bingo, summer fayre, craft mornings, London Christmas shopping trip etc. Home visits for new starts at school. Walking Bus to and from school. Input from Adult Learning re Maths for parents.
School has good links with specialist support services, is aware of CAF and Multi-Agency Forum for further specialist help.
Children involved in bulb/tree planting in village. Womens Institute involved with cooking programmes. Loros Coffee Mornings held at school. Links to local church at Harvest Festival with supper at school. Parish Council and W.I. use school for meetings. Children visit Coalville Hospital for Carol Singing.
