No outside providers operate at school. Parents use local childminders. Walking Bus to and from school.
Cross country club, Recorders x 2, Football Club, Choir, Cricket, Orchestra, Ball Games, Environment Club, Cookery Club, Art and Design Club. Outside Providers: Willesley Golf Club, Derby County FC, Ashby Cricket Club, 'Mad Scientist Club', French Club (pupils pay). Residential visits Beaumanor Hall and Cornwall. Study support at 'Tip Tops' Ashby School. Links to Ashby School students who provide support for sporting activities. Healthy School. Also involved in Small Schools and take part in activities such as Cross Country Saturdays and a swimming gala.
Active P.S.A organize Fund Raising events, fetes, Christmas fayre , fish and chip suppers, parties, etc. Library ROTA support. Support in school, curriculum workshops e.g. Maths, Reading and writing.
School has excellent links with support services, is aware of CAF and the multi-agency forum for specialist help.
Brownies and Rainbows. Excellent Church links - 'Christingle' service, mothering Sunday etc. Links to village carnival. Tree planting, Active8 scheme witb local leisure facilities.
