Parents use local Childminders. Outside Providers, 'Swingboats' and 'Smiz Kids' bring some children to school and collect them afterwards. 'Walking Bus' every morning from Somerfields car park in town and the Westfields Estate.
Depending on the time of the year we have various clubs and activities. An outside provider 'In2sport' takes our sports sessions. Other activities include Spanish, newspaper club, pottery, football, Christmas Choir, Explorers Club (Geography), Chess Club, Recorders (2 clubs) and Tag rugby. Homework Club for Yr 6 on Fridays. School is actively involved in music and has its own orchestra, every child in year 3 has tuition in either Violin, Viola or Cello. Study support - children use 'Tip Tops' at Ashby School.
Active 'Friends of Hill Top' Association for parents. Organizing events and functions.
School works closely with Social Services, Educational Psychologist, Student Support. Makes use of CAF and Multi Agency Forum if required.
Close links with Parish Church at Harvest, Carol Services etc. 'Active8' project for sport at local leisure centres.
