Wall of Activities

Easter Holiday Activities at Moira

A group of our children took part in the Star Academy Week organised by Clubs Complete at Moira during the recent holidays. Our pictures show the children getting ready for the big show in front of their parents on the last day.

Science day at Ivanhoe

Our pupils enjoyed a visit to Ivanhoe College to take part in a Science project which involved over 300 primary school children. The children worked with Ivanhoe students and took part in practical scientific experiments.

Spanish lessons going well

Our keystage 1 and 2 children are enjoying learning Spanish at lunchtimes.

Parents I.T. workshops

Sessions on I.T. have been organised for our parents and grandparents. The first session had 14 participants brushing up or learning new skills on computers. They are joined by pupils and a great family learning session takes place.

Reception class gets new outdoor play equipment

Our Reception class has recently received some new outdoor play equipment through extended services and the NW Leics locality partnership fund.

Open day a success

Parents and carers were recently invited to attend school and join the children for an afternoon. Children were able to show their work to parents and carers. Great fun was had by all.

Front of School Garden and Outdoor Learning Area

Working with our Governors and Extended Services we have began work on our outdoor learning and garden area at the front of school. Our children will have the benefit of working outdoors and our Garden Club Members will be responsible for cultivating and developing our Sensory Garden.

Children enjoy science experience

Donisthorpe students were among 400 primary school children who attended Ivanhoe College for a STEM Science Day. The children took part in fun practical science activities with Ivanhoe students and thoroughly enjoyed their day.
