Relate have a family liaison counsellor funded by extended schools who is available to work with families from this school who have issues that may impact on children. As part of the Extended Services offer of parenting support, Ashby Family of Schools now employ a Parent Support Adviser (PSA)
Our Parent Support Adviser is Michelle White who will provide a link between parents and schools. Michelle can offer early intervention, preventative support, guidance and advice to families whose children may be experiencing difficulties or other issues at school. Michelle will work with school in partnership with parents, carers and other agencies to improve the outcomes for individual children. If you feel that your family may benefit from the services of the Parent Support Adviser or you simply want to find out more information please contact your school.

After School Trampoline Club
Our new after school trampoline club has really taken off, the children pictured below are having lots of fun whilst exercising.
Garden Project
Extended Services has enabled us to develop an area for our Garden Club. After the initial work the children are now happily planting a variety of plants.
Tri-Golf Sessions
Extended Services have enabled our Sports Parnership team to purchase Tri-Golf equipment for use in all our Primary Schools pictured below are our children taking part. Does Albert Village have the next Nick Faldo !
Warning Zone Team Visit School
Our Year 6 Class had an enjoyable visit from members of the Warning Zone Safety Team. The children spent the morning learning all about Safe Decision Making and Criminal Responsibilty. Working in small groups the children tackled the issues of Anti Social Behaviour, Peer Pressure and Taking Risks.
Science Day at Ivanhoe College
Our Year 6 children had a very enjoyable experience at Ivanhoe College. The children worked with the older students on practical scientific activities. A great way of getting to know the college and how it works.
