Indian Cookery Demonstration for the What’s Cooking Club Took Place at Ashby School on Monday 7th July. Children and their parents were treated to a demonstration and cooked a delicious meal consisting of pilau rice, chicken kurma and king prawn jalfrezi. What a treat at tea time!

Schools Visit 'Warning Zone'
Visits were arranged for 10 Primary Schools at the ‘Warning Zone’ safety centre at Syston. Year 6 pupils learned ‘life long’ safety messages and had great fun at this excellent venue.

Parent's Course Going Strong
Our school nurses have begun a successful ‘Fun and Families’ parents course, the sessions cover all aspects of parenting, course members are able to meet and share experiences with others.
