Images and Alt Tags

Where images have been used we have added text alternatives so that you can still know what the image is meant to show even if it doesn't load or if you've have chosen to browse with the images switched off or you are using something like a screen reader to read the web page.

Increasing / Decreasing Font Sizes

Please note: some pages may not display correctly when font size is increased or decreased.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7:
– Open your browser.
– Select the 'Page' icon from the toolbar.
– Choose the 'Text Size' option.
– Select the appropriate text size from the options.

Mozilla Firefox 2:
– Open your browser.
– Select the 'View' drop down menu.
– Select 'Text Size'.
– You can then Increase or Decrease the text size.

Screen Magnification

If you change the settings and find that this does not enlarge the text enough, then you may want to consider screen magnification software. Screen magnification can magnify up to 16 times.

Changing Screen Colours:
– To over-ride the default colours or colour schemes, if using Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and choose 'Internet options'.
– When the dialog box appears, click on the 'Colours' button and adjust accordingly by de-selecting the 'Use Windows colours' box.
– Then choose the 'Accessibility' button and tick the box labelled 'Ignore colours specified on Web pages'.

Viewing the Full Screen

– To view the full screen and remove some of the browser's navigation bars, press F11 once.
– Press it again to return the navigation bar Access keys.
